Volunteers Fuel Your Co-Op!
We Have Five Levels of Volunteers Please identify which level is best for you and review our volunteer responsibilities before submitting your volunteer form.
Aspiring Owner - Ownership included - 12 volunteer hours (min 2 hour shifts) within three months time - Can use owner in-store discount benefit once at the end of each volunteer shift until full ownership is established.
Responsible Owner - Four or More Hours Per Month - $10 credit towards the co-op per month.
Dedicated Owner - Eight or More Hours Per Month - Additional 5% in-store discount, equaling 10% off your grocery bills.
Community Role Model - Four or More Hours Per Week (16 hours per month) - Additional 10% in-store discount, equaling 15% off your groceries.
Community Leader - Eight or More Hours Per Week (32 hours per month) - Additional 15% in-store discount, equaling a whopping 20% off your co-op purchases!
Owner benefits will be applied to the month following the completion of volunteer hours.
Responsibilities of Our Volunteers
Please review the following volunteer responsibilities before attending your volunteer training session.
Be punctual for your volunteer duty or shift.
Be reliable and responsible.
Be presentable, well groomed, and professional.
Do not wear clothing with offensive content or obscenities.
Communicate any issues or concerns which are likely to affect your volunteer duties with the volunteer coordinator. This also includes calling if you know you will be late for or not be able to make your scheduled shift.
Complete duties as assigned and directed.
Accept guidance from the Volunteer Coordinator or supervisor.
Be willing to learn and participate in orientation, training programs, and meetings.
Maintain a smooth working relationship with your shift manager and stay within the bounds of the volunteer role.
Keep sensitive organizational information confidential.
Comply with the by-laws of the organization whenever applicable.
Be aware that these responsibilities can be adapted as Community Vibrations continues to evolve.
