Together We Can Create A Healthier Community, From the Ground Up!
Seller Standards of Sustainability
All of the businesses that sell with Community Vibrations must have a focus on sustainability and increasing their environmental stewardship. Sustainable is used to encompass those businesses that maintain a focus on protecting the environment, public health, community, and animal welfare. While our farm sellers do not need to be certified organic, all products must be produced in a way that strives to enhance the ecosystem by increasing air, water, and soil quality as well as biodiversity on our seller's land. Produce must be free of artificial pesticides, insecticides, herbicides, and any other harmful application, natural or not. All animals must be raised humanely outdoors, on untreated pastures, and in ways that allow them to express their natural behaviors. Natural and organic healthcare is necessary to sell animal products through Community Vibrations. If grain is utilized, it must not be the predominant portion of the animals diet, and it must be grown organically and free of antibiotics. All sellers must complete an annual farm visit with Community Vibrations, and also respect the seller responsibilities listed below.
By submitting your application and seller-owner fee, you agree to the following responsibilities.
I agree to pay 20% of all in store sales to Community Vibrations to help the co-op stay community owned and operated.
I assume all responsibility and liability for my products sold through Community Vibrations.
I agree to monitor individual sales and deliver promised items to the designated location on the designated delivery day at the appropriate time.
I agree to label my items and follow all required federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
I agree to provide feedback to a board member as necessary to strengthen the workings of Community Vibrations.
I understand that failure to complete these obligations may result in the termination of my seller-ownership status.
If you are interested in becoming a seller, please visit our Wild Apricot site to get signed up. You will not need to pay at this time, but will be directed to the seller's application and put in contact with Fawn, our Local Farm Manager, to schedule a farm visit. If you have any questions, please contact Fawn at email@example.com.
